NME 홈페이지에서 'The Greatest Lyricists Ever'란 타이틀로 투표가 진행중이다. 10점만점에 1점 단위로 점수를 부여할 수 있는데, 이시각 현재 Muse의 Matt Bellamy가 평점 8.84로 압도적인 1위를 달리고 있다.(John Lennon이 6.98인데 이건 뭐 거의 인기투표;;) 아직 투표가 진행중이라서 시시각각 변하는 순위를 발표할 수는 없지만, 홈페이지에 공개된 20위 이내에 랭크된 몇몇 뮤지션들과 기타 훌륭한 작사가들을 소개해 볼까 한다. 샘플 가사들을 음미해보자!!
